CARAWAY SPEEDWAY was built in 1966. It remained a dirt track until 1972 when it joined the Nascar Weekly Racing Series Family as a .455 mile oval asphalt short track. Saturday nights featuring late model stocks. Fun Fridays - June through August - features late model super trucks.

NORTH ASHEBORO PARK & DISC GOLF COURSE
This 26-acre park features a disc golf course, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, baseball field, seasonal swimming pool, playground and paved walking trail.

ASHEBORO SKATE PARK is a facility that can provide fun and entertainment for kids of all ages! The skate park facility is a combination indoor/outdoor area with more than 2,500 interior and 7,500 exterior square feet of skating surface with a variety of skate features. Don't feel like skating? It also offers indoor and outdoor viewing areas, bleachers, concessions, lockers, restrooms, and a party room.

ASHEBORO COPPERHEADS Who doesn't enjoy a wooden bat baseball game! Go to the traditionally rich McCrary Ball Park and support the Asheboro Copperheads,  the local Asheboro N.C. team.
