Named for North Carolina governor Samuel Ashe and settled around 1740, Asheboro is not only rich in history, but also breathtaking in nature.

Being located in North Carolina, the Asheboro area is assured of four full and beautiful seasons with a wide range of activities possible at different times of the year. There is sailing and hiking in the summer and although we don't get nearly as much snow as our northern neighbors, one can build an occasional snowman in the winter.
